Postive Results 19th-24th December

What to do if my child tests positive over Christmas.

COVID-19

What do I need to do when my child’s school building is closed for Christmas?

We hope that everyone stays well over the Christmas holidays, but ... if you have symptoms of COVID-19 and you get a positive test result, everyone you have been in close contact with (in the last 48 hours) has to self-isolate.

School has an important part to play in notifying our school community when they have been in close contact with someone who has the virus.

Although the school building will be closed after Friday 18th December, school leaders can be contacted until the end of Thursday 24th, and they will inform members of the school community who have been affected by a positive case.

Please use this information if you are affected by COVID-19 whilst the school building is closed for Christmas.

How to Book a Test for COVID-19

Phone 119 if you have problems using the online service. Test results are usually received within a couple of day. Over the Christmas holidays, it may take longer to get your child’s result. This is why we will need to know when symptoms first showed, so that we can work out who has been in close contact

How to Contact School
